Abstract
Ndaru Putri Kinasih, Management Program - Undergraduate Program, Economic Institute Of Muhammadiyah Cilacap, Leadership, Reward and Punishment on Employee Performance at Cilacap Environmental Office, Advisor I: Muslim Fikri, SE, M.Si, Advisor II: Esih Jayanti, SE, M.Sc. One of important element in the activities of government organizations is human resources. Human resource performance is closely related to organizational performance, good employee performance will produce optimal organizational performance. In order for employee performance to be consistent and maximum, the organization must pay attention to the employee's work environment that can affect a person's ability to carry out their duties and responsibilities such as the application of leadership, reward, and punishment. The purpose of this reseacrh is to test and analyze whether Leadership, Reward, and Punishment Against Employee Performance at Cilacap Environmental Office. Research samples are 51 people of Cilacap Environmental Office’s employees. To determine the effect of leadership, reward, and punishment on employee performance, multiple linear regression analysis was used. To test the overall effect used F test with degrees of freedom (df) = k and (n-k-2) with a level of confidence (α = 0.05). To find out the effect partially, the T test of degrees of freedom (df) = k and (n-k-2) was used with a level of confidence (α = 0.05). Data proccessing results show that Leadership (X1) has no significant effect on employee performance at Cilacap Environmental Office because tcount < ttable (0,727 < 1,67722), Reward (X2) has significant effect on employee performance at Cilacap Environmental Office because tcount > ttable (1,943 > 1,67722) , and Punishment (X3) has significant effect on employee performance at Cilacap Environmental Office because tcount > ttable (4,420 > 1,67722). The results of the anaylisis obtained by the value of Fcount > Ftable (9,055 > 2,80). It means Leadership (X1), Reward (X2), and Punishment (X3) simultaneously have significant effect on employee performance at Cilacap Environmental Office. The coefficient of determination Adjusted Rsquare is 0,326. It means that 32,6% of employee performance can be explained by Leadership (X1), Reward (X2), and Punishment (X3) while 67,4% are influenced by other factors not examined.
